RICHWOOD PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Community Fellowship In A Historical Setting

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

Established in 1834, Richwood Presbyterian Church is the oldest active Presbyterian Church in Northern Kentucky and is a Kentucky Historic Landmark located just 20 miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Nestled on a winding country road in Boone County Kentucky, the church's picturesque setting is adjacent to a natural rock walled cemetery equally as historic. In addition, an original stoned residential manse on a hill overlooking the church, has been beautifully restored and is occupied by the church's minister and family.

To preserve the historic features, a modern community center, has been carefully constructed into the scenic architecture. The center is fully equipped with modern kitchen appliances, individual Sunday Church rooms, bathrooms and administrative offices. The main fellowship hall serves as a great room for dining and also doubles as a basketball/volleyball court or for special occasions.

The center is used extensively for church gatherings and also serves local community activities such as a voting precinct and many individual homeowner association gatherings.

A rich heritage of history, dating before the civil war and during the struggle for freedom of some past members,  is  available upon your request from the church.
